Hackathon The developers at Sikka.ai were challenged to build a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) based application using open-source large language models (LLMs) on internal JIRA data. Before starting this challenge, each team received a Sagemaker endpoint with GPU to run their models. 21 unique teams, from various technical backgrounds, competed in building simple interfaces and various unique solutions to the challenge. Teams were judged on two sets of scoring criteria – one focused on user experience, based on application speed and ease of use, and the other focused on the accuracy and quality of the results.
